Competition time once again boys and girls and this time around you are going to have to have to get your thinking caps on if you are going to come up with something special but I believe there is the potential here for some fantastic images. So then, your theme for the May competition will be Men at Work.Everybody works, in one way or another and everybody comes into contact every day with many other people going about their work. The photographic possibilities here are endless, from the smiling lollipop lady at the school crossing, your hung over collegue at the next desk, to lines of checkout operators at the supermarket, a major proportion of the people you come into contact with during your normal day will be in the process of doing their jobs. Despite the abundance of subjects with this brief, making them into an exciting and engaging image is a bit more of a challenge and this is where you are going to need to be thinking outside of the box. Your image does not necessarily have to show them doing their job, in fact it may be interesting to show them doing something they are not supposed to be doing (imagine the popularity of an image of a dancing Traffic Warden?), but it should give the viewer some clue as to the subjects occupation. Try to look for the unusual, avoid the obvious and with just a little effort and a lot of imagination we should see some very entertaining images.

Please ensure you read ALL the rules carefully before entering
- Submitted images must be no larger than 700 pixels on the longest side and a maximum of 105kb
- Exif Data must be retained in the photo before uploading, this can be acheived by using save as
- All entries must be taken and submitted during the competition period, 1st until 31st of May, 2008, midnight to midnight
- Entries must be uploaded directly to the appropriate gallery, May 2008 Competition - Men at Work
- Only 1 entry per member, any member uploading more than one image will have them all removed
- Once your entry has been uploaded you must contact a member of the Admin Team if you wish to remove or replace it
- In order to maintain your anonymity you must ensure that your entry does not contain any reference to yourself, such as a watermark with your name in it, this also includes any personal information in the Exif Data.
- You may only enter a title for your photo, no other data may be added (eg - descriptions)
- You must also ensure that your entry, or a similar image that could potentially identify it as yours, is not used or posted anywhere else until after voting has finished
- The final entry date is May the 31st at midnight
- Entries will not be visible until voting begins
- By entering this competition you are deemed to have read and agreed with these rules
- Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in your entry being removed without warning. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the removal of entries and the decison to do so will be at the sole descretion of Gosnap Admin and will be final. It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that your entry complies with the published requirements
