Photography Tips
Gosnap Academy
You knew it was coming and at last, here it is! We are pleased to announce the arrival of our latest addition, the Gosnap Academy, a comprehensive resource of photographic articles, tutorials and guides.
Although we already had a forum section to house these articles they were often overlooked beneath the masses of other content within the forum. Unless you knew specifically where to look, it was very difficult to find what you needed. Now, with the Gosnap Academy, all that will change.
Features include
- Covering all photographic topics
Your one stop shop for help, advice and how to's
- Fully Searchable
Search by keyword, date, software version or even skill level!
- Quick Nav
See the newest or most popular articles with just one click
- Gosnap specific content
Tutorials and guides on how to use and get the best from Gosnap and all of its features, including the Academy itself
- Submit your own article
Whatever your experience, share with others your tips & techniques
- Post attachments
Post example images to use or supporting files
- Manage your articles and favourites using 'My Stuff'
Your bespoke area to organise your own 'Academy', with your own articles, your favourites and draft articles you are working on for publication at a later date
- Time your releases
Set your articles to automatically publish at a specific time/date
- Request a specific tutorial
Can't find what you're looking for, put a request in here
With the arrival of this new feature we would also like to introduce you to two new members of the GS Team who have worked extremely hard to get this great new feature up and running. Gareth and Shaun are both well known and respected members of our community who have a great deal of photographic knowledge and experience which they are only too happy to share with the rest of us. Therefore they will now be jointly moderating the Academy and providing user support where required. Please join us in welcoming them to our team, very well done to both of them.
Gareth and Shaun have kindly contributed many new articles to get us started, including this great tutorial on using the Academy itself, which I strongly suggest you read first, but there is plenty of room for more so time to get your thinking caps on and brush up on your typing skills!!!
This new feature is another great step towards making Gosnap your all in one photographic resource on the web. So start reading and learning today, and the next day and for many days to come.
We hope you enjoy
