Changing the season of a photo

This tutorial will show you an effective way of giving the illusion that a photo was taken in a different season.

In this case, i have changed from "summer" to autumn

Go to Image>>>Adjustments>>>Hue/Saturation...

Or just hit Ctrl+U

Here is the task panel you will come up with. In this case the thing that sets the season summer apart from autumn is the colour of the leaves, and as we can see the leaves are green. This is what we want to change.

So under the "edit" drop down menu select green, as this is the colour that we want to modify. And then play with the slider until you are happy with the effect.

In this case changing only the hue was effective and droped it down to a value of -101.

Whala! its Autumn =]

Obviously experiment with the other colours to give it a greater effect. See.. i said it was simple didn't I eh?!

Very effective! I like it. But which Photoshop tools are needed to change the French word 'Voila' into 'Whala'? :-)
