How To Straighten A Photo

I will use a stock image of this beach for example.


Right click on the eye dropper tool and select the measure tool.

Then click and drag the crosshair over the crooked horizon of your photo.

Then go to Image/Rotate canvas/Arbitrary.

Photoshop will automatically insert the correct value. Then press ok.

our image should now look like this.

Now go to Image/Free transform.

Hold down Alt+Shift and go to one of the corner boxes on the image and simply stretch the image to fill the canvas.
