After a particular photo shoot, I posted some of the photos on Gosnap, and one of the photos was selected for pic of the week. The client was very pleased with this and has now been showing their friends a family my work on Gosnap, which will hopefully lead to additional business.

I would just like to say thank you to Gosnap, for being an invaluable learning resource for the past 5 months (since I started photography). It has helped me on my way to a successful little earner!  I am now starting my own little business and doing portrait shots for families, babies and individuals and I owe most of it to Gosnap and its fantastic members =]

I wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum for being polite, constructive and generally a good laugh and also thank you to Si for bringing us Gosnap in the first place as well as all the Mods and Admins that keep the place together.

Thank you all for taking fantastic photos and for being happy to share them with everyone and most importantly for being mature about any criticism and modest about your individual abilities (of that you all have many).

I love the way that in this place people respect one another whether they’re 18 or 65, and are more than happy to get along and take advise with no bias at all

If only real life could be a little more like this place.


P.S. I’m not writing this because I’m going anywhere I’ve just had one of those days in work and this forum has been a god send

I am now hoping to take more photos than I used to as a change in jobs means I have a lot more spare time.
Your site is proving to be a valuable resource to me and I have taken a lot from it already.
