Gosnap's Rules may change from time to time and you will be made aware of this by the last updated date that is displayed at the top of this document. It is your responsibility to ensure you stay informed and up to date with our rules so we recommend you visit this page on a regular basis.

Content
1. Please do not post any photographs that are obscene, vulgar, pornographic, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, or which otherwise violate any local or international laws. Staff of Gosnap will ultimately decide if something is appropriate or not and act accordingly. Photographs of the above nature being posted will lead to a permanent ban from Gosnap.

1.1. The nude / partially nude gallery is for tasteful artistic photographs only, any photograph deemed to be otherwise will be deleted from Gosnap and this will lead to a permanent ban and your ISP being notified. Staff of Gosnap will ultimately decide if something is appropriate or not.

1.2. Photos of a mature nature and this includes partially and fully nude should only be posted in the "nude / partially nude gallery" Photos of this nature found outside of this gallery will simply be removed and an infraction maybe allocated which could lead to a suspension or ban of your account. In addition, when uploading photographs of a nude, be it partial or full nude it must have the mature filter set to 'yes'

Copyright
2. The ownership of the copyright to photos uploaded to Gosnap remains with the photographer, however, by uploading such content to Gosnap, you are deemed to have given your permission for its use for that purpose. If off line publication of a photo is required, then we will first obtain permission from the copyright owner.

2.1. Copyright of photos uploaded to Gosnap, must belong to that member, or have the copyright owners permission. Any photographs uploaded without the copyright owners consent or if ownership is questionable then it will be deleted.

2.2. Members can permit modification of their photos, in doing so you allow other members to download, edit and modify your photo for sole purpose of uploading it back to Gosnap in a comment residing under your photo.

2.3. No promotional material, url's, website addresses to external sites are allowed in photographs and comments/posts, that includes watermarks or copyright notices. Any form of advertising on a photo will result in the deletion of that photo.

Usage
3. Gosnap’s gallery should not be used as a storage facility, although we strive to ensure no data or photos are lost we accept no liability or offer any guarantees, therefore you should always ensure you have a duplicate copy of the photo you uploaded to our servers.

3.1. You permit Gosnap to store your Photos and comments on our servers, although we endeavor to keep this data secure and we would never disclose this information to third parties without your consent, we cannot be held responsible for any attack by hackers which may lead to data being comprised or lost.

Comments
4. No "Advertising": Please do not post any links to a product, service or website, either commercial or non-commercial

4.1. Any link to a site that may be in direct competition to Gosnap is strictly forbidden, this includes, but is not limited to, forums, galleries, tutorials, blogs or directories

4.2. Members may list their personal web site, but only in their profile, and may submit their url for consideration of inclusion in the directory.

4.3. Members must not abuse this privilege by using other areas of the gallery to promote their sites, this includes asking for critique of their sites or general requests for people to look at the images on their sites

4.4. No links or url's to external sites are allowed in signatures, watermarks or copyright notices

4.5. Links to images on hosting sites are not allowed, the image must display in the comment and not be a clickable link

4.5.1. Members must not link to unnecessarily large files that significantly slow down page loading times and keep the dimensions within 700 pixels on the longest side
